Nargis Fakhri was born on October 20, 1979 in New York is a mixed breed to her Pakistani father, Mohammed A. Fakhri and Czechoslovakian mother, Marie. She is a top international model who has worked with leading model agencies like La Agencia, Ford Models, Nova Models and others around the world.
She started her career as child artist in television advertisements. Later she concentrated on Modeling and she was part of America's Next Top Model:season 2. She was selected for the Kingfisher swimsuit calender.
And now she is all set to make a grand entry in the Indian film industry. Big budget film Rockstar will feature Nargis Fakhri & charming youth icon Ranbir Kapoor. The movie co-produced by Eros International and Shri Ashtavinayak Cinevision. The director of ‘Rockstar’ is Imtiaz Ali who had directed two Blockbusters, Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal. The movie ‘Rockstar’ is based on a successful musician who falls in love to hone his talent through emotional touch of affection. And the Maestro A. R. Rahman had composed music of this film. Hope he gets Oscar again. It’ll add a little plume to her success.
